Iridium doesn’t host your email. That’s deliberate — running mail next to your website creates a security and reputation surface you don’t want. What we do do is set up domain email properly with the providers that should handle it, and audit existing setups that aren’t quite right.
A small honest stance
Email is a different job.
Plenty of hosts will sell you “free email.” We won’t, because we’ve seen the bill. The same hardware shouldn’t run your inbox and your store — and the people who do email best are the people who only do email.
Reputation is shared.
A web server’s IP wasn’t designed to send email and isn’t seasoned for it. Even one sloppy newsletter from any account on the box can land your domain in spam folders for weeks.
Cloudflare gets bypassed.
If your mail and website share a server, the MX records leak the real origin IP. Anyone scanning DNS can route around your firewall and hit your web server directly.
